The Signal Movie Trailer

Raise your hand if this kind of movie sounds appealing to you: Sci-fi, Laurence Fishburne, and lots of M-4’s (that’s AR’s for all my civilian counterparts out there).  No, this isn’t another Battle for Los Angeles – which was a great movie nonetheless – or even another Starship Troopers Redux.  The name of this intriguing Summer 2014 potential blockbuster is The Signal, and the exciting trailer above gives us enough information to want more, but not enough to truly know what we’re, or Nic, the main character is dealing with. As a huge fan of sci-fi, as well as Mr. Fishburne’s acting resume – not to mention M-4’s! – The Signal looks like it has potential to be an awesome film.  Want the specific release date and more details on the plot?  Of course you do – hit the link below for more.

The Signal Movie Trailer

On June 13th, 2014, The Signal and it’s eerily cool soundtrack will hit American theaters, and at this point I plan on reserving me a seat.  If you’re hunting for more information on the plot, I came across a very quick-hitting synopsis off Apple.com/trailers:

“Three college students on a road trip across the Southwest experience a detour: the tracking of a computer genius who has already hacked into MIT and exposed security faults. The trio find themselves drawn to an eerily isolated area. Suddenly everything goes dark. When one of the students, Nic (Brenton Thwaites of “The Giver” and “Maleficent”), regains consciousness, he is in a waking nightmare…”

Don’t college kids these days know to just stay away from Roswell?  My guess is they were from Arizona State.  Stay tuned for more on The Signal as it gets released!
