You’re not going to believe who tried out for the main cast roles of NBC’s epic comedy The Office.  We’ve already revealed Seth Rogan, but you’re going to have to watch the video to see who else showed up at the audition!  The hilarious thing: the actual cast chosen was perfect, and many to most American television viewers were absolute nobodies at the time.  Must see video!

Humble Beginnings: Carell and Colbert do Even Stevphen

Comedy Central, some years ago, righted a sinking ship in The Daily Show by hiring Jon Stewart. Turning political speak into punchlines received better than expected attention, and Stewart was on the road to becoming what appeared to be a political voice surging through the muck and mire of American politics.

Both Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert were brought on as reporters and comedic acts, and due to the success of the show, and themselves, they started gaining national attention too. So much that Colbert earned his own segment, The Colbert Report, that aired after The Daily Show. While Carell didn’t follow suit, he launched his acting career. Anchorman 2 Trailer: It’s Science

Is it December yet?  Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is the long-awaited and anticipated sequel to in my opinion, Will Ferrell’s best film as a leading role, and this December the entire Channel 4 news team will finally land in theaters in what will surely find epic box office success.  All of your favorites are back: Steve Carell as Brick Tamland (“Brick, are you inviting me to a party in your pants?”), street reporter Brian Fantana played by Paul Rudd, Champ “Whammy” Kind, and even Miss Veronica Corningstone and the wheel-of-cheese eating, Spanish-speaking dog, Baxter.  I think it’s safe to expect a truckload of big-time celebrity cameos as well, although I don’t know if anything can top the original, news team, back-alley brawl to the death; I guarantee they’ll try though!  The official trailer is above, and it does not disappoint; this is Will Ferrell in his prime!
