Gamers are a creative demographic, and when you throw in the fact that many of their mother’s are world class quilters, you’ve got a recipe for nerdiness that would make even Santa Claus face-palm.  What would rank even higher on the nerdiness scale is if said gamer is also a world class quilter; or better yet, said gamer and said world class quilter is also a mother.  Oh snap!  Before I give this retro-ly (I’m making up words left and right today) awesome, funny gaming pic away, hit the link below and you’ll see what I’m talking about.  You will not be disappointed.

Goldeneye Challenge: Aztec on 00 Agent, Under 8:45

Goldeney 007 for the legendary Nintendo 64 stands as arguably the greatest game of all-time, at least from this guy’s opinion.  At the very least, Rare’s epic Bond title will hold a permenent spot in my Top 5 Greatest Games List, and likely most everyone else’s as well (it had better!)  But enough of the grab-ass; let’s move on to the challenge!  Hit the link below for the challenge details, and pull your N64 out of the attic, because it’s Boris time.

Sim City Brings Back the Memories

Get excited!  In just two short hours, night-shifting, high school employees at your local GameStop’s and Best Buy’s will be stocking store shelves with the latest version of everyone’s favorite simulator, SimCity.  While the only folks likely to be camping out this evening probably hold Urban Planning undergraduate degrees (yeah, and you thought Political Science was awesome), let’s at least pay some homage to where homage is due as we travel back in time and savor those one, or maybe two hours, where we actually enjoyed playing SimCity.  Alright, maybe a half an hour.
