I don’t own a GoPro camera, but I do like watching GoPro videos! In all seriousness, I don’t really have the traditional “extreme” need for one, and they just really started coming out when I was getting out of the Marine Corps – plus I never would have put one on my Kevlar (helmet to you civilians out there in SQ Nation), or even my chest rig. Regardless, the HD video footage really is awesome as you can tell from these kids who decide to plant their GoPro camera in between some local train tracks. What did they capture? Just a screaming freight train clocking in at over 75MPH.
Well that’s certainly a unique way to go out. Charlo Greene, a reporter out of KTVA News Alaska, recently decided to throw in the professional towel and quit on live television – except she decided to take a more unique way to put in her two weeks. This video is short and sweet folks, but if you’re in the office I would recommend turning your speakers down to low volume so that way Lumbergh won’t hear ya. Speaking of Lumbergh –
The Internet is awesome for many a reason, but it is especially cool due to the fact that we get to relish in other people’s epic failures. Yes, Bob Saget and his America’s Funniest Home Videos pretty much pioneered that idea, but the Internet and it’s fail video following is now so big that even Bob in all of his awesomeness just doesn’t compare. This morning, as folks pick up their pre-ordered iPhone 6’s around the globe, we have our first iPhone 6 fail video straight out of Perth, Australia. While all of us here in America expected a kangaroo kicked it out of this guy’s arms – sorry, Australian SQ Nation, it was too easy – the guy was just a retard when he opened the box. Thankfully, it was in front of the entire line of iPhone 6 customers waiting outside of the store – oh, and the fact that it was on live TV was pretty cool too!
Have you ever seen a volcano eruption live before? Yeah, didn’t think so. Eruptions aren’t really something you can plan on being there live for – although I’m pretty sure now scientists have a good idea one will happen soon once the thing starts rumbling – and those eruptions you’ve seen in the movies? Those don’t count. Well my SQ faithful, now’s your chance. This is actual footage from Mt Tavurvur erupting in Papua New Guinea back on August 29th, 2014, and it’s simply incredible. That’s probably as close as I’d want to be during a volcanic eruption!
While I don’t think anything will ever topple the original Home Shopping Network samurai sword mishap video, this fat kid turned elite ninja warrior taking down water bottles comes darn close. Yes, that is a pug shirt he is wearing, and you have to bet this ninja uses this video as a pick-up line when he’s out at night with his pals trying to pick up ladies. Oh, and this video probably works every single time: “So, want to check out my driveway?”
When I first came across this video, I thought the talented creator Pastek was going to go the Superbad movie route based on the name. While I was wrong on the video direction – this awesome funny retro Mario video is actually about Mario instigating some hilarious fails – the video is still excellent, and still a must see for your Thursday morning. While you may have seen some of the original fail footage in this film, it doesn’t matter – this video will have you laughing continuously!
I have watched a lot of Family Feud over the course of my 31 years – I still think it is one of the better game shows out there – but I have never seen an epic fail like this one. While you may have a good idea on what happens here, I guarantee you will still be surprised at the very end – I would explain what I am getting at, but then I would just be giving it away, wouldn’t I? Don’t miss this absolutely epic Family Feud fail video!
There are fail videos, and then there are freaking fail videos; this is one of those epic videos that fall into the latter, simply epic category for one reason, and one reason alone: a deer. I’m not going to say when it happens, because the entire video is awesome, but when you see it – haha – you will crap your khakis. More after the jump!
Curb Your Enthusiasm is one of my all-time favorite comedies. I was a huge fan of Seinfeld growing up, so Curb was a natural fit; it also took me a few seasons until I discovered that George Costanza’s character on Seinfeld is actually based on Larry’s actual life, which made Curb even funnier since George is one of the best TV characters of all-time, and that’s not up for debate. With eight incredibly hilarious seasons already in the Curb Your Enthusiasm books, the door is still tentatively open at HBO for Larry to do a ninth, and as a huge fan all I can do is hope. In the meantime, at least we have reruns and thousands of hilarious Curb Your Enthusiasm videos like the one above – when Larry meets the flamoyant Greg – to keep us entertained!
Sometimes it just makes you wonder if the entire planet has gone to war, doesn’t it? Between ISIS trying to create its own state (good luck with that, btw), Syria gassing its own people, Israel and Palestine – well, nothing new there, sadly – Putin subtlety claiming Ukraine, and Libya being Libya, even without Mr. Gaddafi, is there anywhere on the other side of the planet that isn’t at war? It’s pretty crazy, isn’t it? Want to see something even more crazy? Check out the video above, which isn’t for the weakest of stomachs, as a MiG-21 fighter jet just crashed into Tobruk city block in Libya.
